The inside (bottom) is covered with clear varnish, so the urine does not penetrate into the wood and it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Materials used for the production of the articles are harmless to the animals. Since only the use of safe paints (and clear varnish) according to DIN 71-3 and wood glue, which is solvent-free, are used.
